Volunteer competitions for companies
FlockItToMe turns volunteering into a friendly rivalry. Teams form flocks, log what they do, and a live leaderboard keeps score, between departments, between offices, or between whole companies.
Example challenge
Cans donated · 4 flocks · ends Friday
How it works
Pick a cause and one thing to count: hours served, cans collected, trees planted. Set the dates and the prize.
Each department, office or company becomes a flock. People join with a tap, and late joiners can still jump in.
Members post a photo or short video of what they did and type in how many: cans, hours or trees. Every submission adds to the flock's total in real time.
The leaderboard names the champion. Send personalized digital certificates to the winners or to everyone who took part.
The scoreboard is live
Every proof posts in real time. Your team can see the other flock high-fiving over their latest delivery, check whether you're running first or last, and rally to finish on top.

Engineering vs. Sales
Why companies use it
A sign-up sheet in the break room gets a few names. A scoreboard with Accounting's name on top gets the whole building moving.
People who never cross paths end up packing boxes side by side, trading strategy and cheering each other on.
Every hour and every can is counted with proof. Share a company portfolio on your website, in your newsletter or in your annual report.
Set up a challenge in minutes. The app tallies totals, ranks the flocks and closes the competition on schedule.
Food banks, shelters, parks and schools near your offices get the help. Your people get the stories.

Company vs company
Challenge the company across the street, your biggest competitor or your best customer. Same cause, same rules, one leaderboard. The winner gets the bragging rights. The community gets everything else.
Each company signs up with its own account, and both join the same challenge. No special plan needed.

Why I built FlockItToMe
For forty-six years as a clinical social worker, I watched what helps people grow and heal. Again and again, it came down to two things: being close to others, and sharing good feelings with them.
Most people want to do good. What they often lack is a reason to start and a team to start with. A sign-up sheet rarely gives them either. A friendly competition does. Put up a scoreboard, give it a cause, and people show up, cheer each other on and ask for a rematch.
So I built FlockItToMe for companies that want their people to have fun while doing real good. When a department packs a thousand meals or plants a grove of trees, the community wins. So do the coworkers who did it together.

Questions companies ask
An online app for volunteer competitions. A Challenge is a goal with one thing to count and a start and end date. Teams, called Flocks, join the Challenge, and members submit Proof of what they did. The leaderboard keeps score, and the Flock with the highest total wins.
Your company chooses the cause and the local nonprofit you'll help, such as a food bank, school or parks department. FlockItToMe runs the competition: the teams, the scoreboard, the proof and the winners' certificates.
Create a Challenge under My Challenges with a picture, description, dates and prize. Each department creates a Flock under My Flocks and joins the Challenge. Once the start date arrives, members post their Proof. At the end date, the app names the winner.
A photo or short video of the good work, plus a quantity you type in, such as 36 for cans or 3 for hours. Each submission adds to the Flock's total right away. Photos taken sideways (landscape) display best.
Yes, if the Challenge creator allows late joins. It's a single switch when you set up the Challenge.
Any Flock can join a public Challenge, and for fairness everyone's members, Flocks and Proofs are visible. In a private Challenge, only the creator adds Flocks. A private Flock's leader decides who sees member names and pictures: anyone, only the Flock, or only the leader.
Yes. Each company signs up with its own account, creates its own Flock, and both Flocks join the same Challenge. No special plan is needed. A company of 50 can take on the company in the next town.
Personalized certificates sent by email when a Challenge ends, to the winners or to everyone who took part. They're included in the Company plan.
